HISTORY
The first Thematica was held in 1987, organised by John Fosbery. 
It was a one day event sponsored by the London & Provincial Stamp Club, and repeated the following year. 
In 1989 it grew to two days, organised by Maurice Gale. 
It is now run twice a year, in June and November by the Friends of Thematica. 
Winter Thematica is a dealer only event, the June Thematica has a number of additional features: 
Dealers, Specialist Society tables and Displays, a Junior Corner, and a range of Competitions from the John Fosbery popular vote to the BTA Cup judged to national standards.
